This site was designed by young people for young people..
Here you will be able to find out everything that's going on in Shaftesbury for young people aged 13-25, these include clubs, activities and events over the next year all the way through to the gig's and festivals being held in the summer holidays.
Here is a quick run down of what you can expect to find on the pages of this site..

Services
This section includes all the organisations in the Shaftesbury area avaliable to young people.. A little bit about who they are, what they do, and all that kind of stuff... If you're looking for a club to attend, have a look and see what's avaliable.

Events
This section kind of gives it away in the name really.. Here are a list of all the local events happening that you might be interested in, from summer holiday gigs, to parties in the park. Shaftesbury is a lively littly town.

Sports
The sports section is a special area designed for all sports related services.. It'll give you detials of the local football team, and other teams Shaftesbury has.

Games
We all like to waste time on the internet playing games.. Here is a collection of our favourites, we found most of these games, while taking breaks from studying or when we were randomly searching the internet in our free periods. (We advise against playing these games in your lesson time..)

Places To Go
Well, everyone hangs out in different places.. If you're new to Shaftesbury and want to know where the bulk of your friends are hanging out or if you are just looking for somewhere new to go to.. There is a list of places very popular here.

Local Bands
Once again, it kind of gives it all away in the name.. We have complied a list of awesome local bands, if you see them playing somewhere. We reccomend you go and see them. We'll probably see you there!

Youth Council
Now I know the word "Council" automatically sounds boring to most young people. But here is a pretty cool pilot scheme we're trying out, basically. Young people form a small council and they gather all the insights and idea's from young people in the town and submit them to the Town Council, who will revise the idea's and plans, and give the go ahead if they agree with it. So. What do you want in Shaftesbury? Get in touch with the Youth Council and let them know. You never know, it might just happen!
